My Payday Weekend

This weekend I did a little shopping. I got my first check from the Lead the Way program. I was very excited. I went to the mall and got my nephew some new shoes. I also got my niece a couple of outfits.

The rest of my money went on some outfits for me. I got some new shoes and had nothing to wear with them. I might save the rest of my money depending on what else I want. I had a good time this weekend. I can't wait till my next check.

Today durning our group project me and Dale were the only one who particapated in our group of five. We had to seach a few websites. We also had to answer a few questions. I was a o.k day.....

Pay Day

Today is Friday the 13th and i am so glad. I am going to sleep my weekend away. Lately i have been so tired. I sleep all day long and stay up all night.Hopefully i will stay up today.
I am going to the mall today to get them new red, black, and white forces. They is hard (nice). I am also buying my nephew some newshoes. I love my niece and nephew a lot. I even call them my kids, so i have 4.

I might go get my mom something if she don't start getting on my nerves. I love her but she be tripping a lot. She deserves everything for all she has done. I hope she don't ask for no money. I know she won't because she is to happy for me.

Working in Groups

On Monday we worked in groups. We took a computer apart. We took the computer apart so we could see the important things that run the computer. We learned about the modem, disk drives, ports, motherboard and so much more. It was fun learning about the computer.

On Tuesday we also did a group project. We were in teams and we had to make a building out of marshmellows and tooth picks. Our teachers made the fan blow onto our building to knock it down. Our building had to stand for at least five seconds. I liked that project a lot it was fun.

My Weekend

Last weekend I really did nothing but sleep. That is my most favorite thing to do. I keep going in and out of the hospital because i have benn sick. The good thing is now i'm feeling so much better. I hope I don't get sick again.

I really did have much fun last weekend but this weekend will be different. My sister Ashley finally got her place and i will go spend some time with her. Shejust turned 18 and she thnk she grown (lol). She still can't beat me in fighting though (lol). I love my sister she is my bestfriend.

I'm hoping that i don't get in trouble this weekend. My mom might start getting on my last one. She'll say I can't go to my sister's house and I'll be mad. Hopefully she won't get mad at me.I really can't wait.

Preparing for My Future

Today we were went on different college sites to prepare for our futures. I think that what we did was very helpful. When it's time for me to really do that i'll know what to do. Everyone had different futures and will be attending different colleges. This was a good experince.

I will have to go to two colleges, Xavier University of Louisiana and Meharry Medical School. When I go to XULA i'll be going to get my BD (Batchlors degree). After I graduate i'll go to HMS to get my MD (medical degree). Then i'll be able to get a job and pay off all my debts. I can't wait until I get to really experince this life.

Today in the IT Summer Camp Program we had a math class, we went over things we already learned just to refresh our minds. We also had a math test on a website called http://www.math.com/. Mr.Drew taught us about a new program called Second Life. It is a program where you have a second life. You can do whatever you want, like start a bussiness or become someone famous. The internet started to ct funny si we didn't get to mess around with it.
Well it is almost time to go home. I am so tired and i don't want to catch the bus home. I already started my day off bad. First I missed my bus so I was late. Then I thought I lost my phone but I left it in Ms. McGee's car. Hopefully the rest of the day goes well.

The First Days

Getting ready for this program was a drag. First I had to take a T.A.B.E test it was easy. Then a few weeks later I went to an orientation which was 8 hours long. I have never sat that long before. They talked about how to act and how to dress for interviews and jobs. Honestly that was a waste of time because I already know how to do that. Besides that for the program we don't have to dress like that.

On my first day here I was kind of worried because I didn't know who was going to be there. I really did't think I would make as many friends as I did. For the first day we just introduced each other and kind of got the idea of what we would be doing. It was a very mellow day. We even got out early which ws good for me.

I couldn't make it on the second day because my aunt passed away. She was in the hospital for a while because she was brain dead. I will miss her a lot. I just know that she needed to go because she accomplished her mission and that was to make her family happy even when they were down. R.I.P Auntie I Love You!!!!!

Today and yesterday were good days. I learned different cool things about the internet. Mr. Jacob's taught us how to talk to people in different places. He showed us how to talk to people as if we were talking on the phone but we were only online. Today Ms. McGee showed us how to start up our own blogs they are for the program. I can't wait to see how the rest of the program goes!!!!
